Silver screen beauties defy cold with amazing glamour parade

There were plenty of bare shoulders and décolletage in sight as Hollywood beauties and homegrown talents sashayed up the red carpet at the Baftas.
Leading the glamour brigade was Jessica Chastain. The flame-haired beauty from The Help looked every inch the screen starlet in a lamé creation with a billowing skirt by Oscar de la Renta.

Also channelling the metallic maiden look were Gillian Anderson, Emilia Fox and Christina Ricci, who confided to HELLO! Online that she wished had on her thermals.

Hot competition for Christina came from an unexpected quarter. Iron Lady Meryl Streep put in an unusually daring appearance in a corseted gown that gave her a fabulous hourglass silhouette.
