Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams fly back to LA after BAFTA bash

Just hours after the BAFTA celebrations wrapped, Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Garner and Amy Adams all jetted back to LA. Leaving behind the glamour of the red carpet and breathtaking designer gowns, they all opted for casual comfort as they flew home.

Zero Dark Thirty star Jennifer Lawrence, who was on the dancefloor until the early hours with co-star Bradley Cooper and Michael Fassbender, arrived at Heathrow clutching a Harrods teddy bear. By the time she had arrived in LA, she looked fresh-faced and showed no signs of a long-haul flight or a late night. She wrapped up warm in an olive green coat, ripped skinny jeans and a plum coloured fedora hat which she ditched when she arrived in LA.

Amy Adams had dressed for comfort for her transatlantic flight in a pair of jeans, brown leather boots and a cream coloured coat with an oversized Louis Vuitton tote and wore her hair in a simple plait. She shed her top layer as she arrived in LA and happily signed autographs for fans.

Jennifer Garner looked relaxed as she passed through the airport on Monday wearing black boots, jeans and a black coat with her hair neatly tied back and just a slick of lipgloss.

She had accompanied husband Ben Affleck to the BAFTA ceremony where he picked up the awards for Best Film and Best Director for his film Argo. While Jennifer flew back to the US, Ben remained in London where he dined with friends at Knightsbridge’s exclusive sushi restaurant, Zuma.

The after-party saw hundreds of screen sirens whisked from the BAFTA ceremony to Park Lane’s Grosvenor House Hotel for the Disaronno-sponsored bash. Helen Mirren, Jessica Chastain and Anne Hathaway were just a few of the a-listers in attendance at the event, leading the acting elite in their celebrations.

Bradley Cooper was quick to let his hair down and took to the dancefloor to celebrate his awards success with Star Trek star Alice Eve as well as dancing with co-star Jennifer Lawrence. Shedding a tear when Silver Linings Playbook won the Best Adapted Screenplay gong, the actor partied through the night to celebrate the watershed moment in his career. Flying the flag for Britain, Gemma Arterton, Tom Hiddleston, Stephen Fry and Rising Star award winner Juno Temple were a few of the familiar faces experiencing the fun.
